Is it weird that I don't mind seeing male characters cock's despite being heterosexual, but when I see a penis on a female character (futanari) it makes me very uncomfortable? I guess it is because I am seeing something I would normally be attracted to, but in a way it's being corrupted by something I am not attracted to.

Yeah I second this. Futas are the worst. Not only do I not understand their mass appeal (and they seem to only be getting more popular) but they also tend to ruin something that is otherwise great art to me.

Yeah I think futas are in a position now like femboys (who I actually don't mind as much) were a few years go where they are massively overplayed.

I've just finished an 86K word story with a futanari protagonist. My secret is that whenever someone complains about futas, I write 1K words.

I must recognize that a lot of fans take their love of futas preeeeetty far though. A lot of them end up pretty one-note too, but that's a problem with preds in general (and nobody says futas have to be preds, but like with femboys there's a trend to portray them in that role).

If I had to explain the appeal... it's probably not that deep.
